Our Story

Serving Teton Valley residents since 2016

The CRCTV was formed as the result of a series of “Filling the Gaps in Teton Valley” meetings that were hosted by the Community Foundation of Teton Valley and facilitated by Frances VanHouten of Rainmaker Coaching in Jackson, Wyoming. The monthly meetings were attended by a variety of service agency representatives from around the region.

Over the course of two years, the group was whittled down to a strong team of community advocates who recognized that a clearinghouse of information and referrals was needed to pull together all of the bits and pieces necessary to assist an individual or family out of crisis and towards stability. This group became the Board of Directors of the Community Resource Center of Teton Valley.

Through their dedication and collaboration, and with the support of the Community Foundation of Teton Valley and Teton Valley Health, the CRCTV opened its doors on February 29, 2016.

Since then, we have been working with individuals and families to assess their needs, connect them to services, and walk with them as they affect change in their lives. As more and more clients walk through the door, the CRCTV develops a better idea of the needs of Teton Valley residents and how we can improve our community on a larger scale in the future.
