At the Community Resource of Teton Valley, we see our role as
helping others help themselves.

We serve anyone in need in our Valley–all ages and situations. We work with each client’s individual circumstances, evaluating which resources might work best.

Betsy Hawkins

Executive Director

A Tennessee native who serendipitously found her way to Teton Valley in 2016, Betsy earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2001 and a Master’s in Nursing Education in 2014. Her experiences have helped her become more attuned to the needs of others and an advocate for patients seeking resources in healthcare, counseling, and more. Betsy is passionate about helping others find information needed to overcome challenges and live their best lives.

Outside of work, Betsy enjoys all aspects of the Teton Valley lifestyle, particularly the outdoor recreation. Since moving West, she’s learned that winters are much more fun with snow and particularly relishes hearing others imitate her Southern accent.

Arely Baez Martinez

Case Manager Coordinator

Arely moved to in Teton Valley in 2008. She has been putting her bilingual skill set to use since her high school days, when she translated information for Spanish-speaking students. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Idaho and is excited to share her passion for helping others within our community.

“Growing up, I always wanted to be someone that people could turn to for help. I love helping, whether that be through connecting people to resources or standing up for those who are afraid to speak up. The CRCTV has allowed me to do exactly that. The resources are out there, but people don’t know where to access them. I’m here to help improve the quality of life of those in need.”

Chris Anderson

Administrative Assistant

Graduating from Loma Linda University, and obtaining licensure in X-ray, CT, and Radiation Therapy, Chris has spent the majority of his career helping others. “Helping someone who’s in a tough situation and going through difficult times is something that has always been important to me. I am honored to be a part of the Community Resource Center where I can  help to make a difference in someone’s life and contribute to this great community that we live in.”

When he isn’t working on a multitude of tasks for the CRC, running the weekly food distributions in the Food Pantry, or overseeing the food rescue program, Chris enjoys skiing powder, downhill mountain biking, and spending time outside with his wife and their dog, Finn.
