Program/Services:

Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy for children of all ages.

Occupational Therapy is for infants, toddlers and children who have:

Developmental delays due to prematurity, neurological deficits, genetic disorders

Feeding problems

Learning disabilities, including handwriting and visual-perceptual deficits

Impaired dexterity, coordination, and self-care skills

Delays in sensorimotor impact on attention, behavior and social skills

Occupational Therapy offers:

  • Visual-perceptual and visual-motor skills
  • Fine motor and manipulation skills/handwriting
  • Upper body strengthening to improve posture, reach coordination
  • Sensormotor activity to improve balance, coordination, body awareness, attention and focus
  • Neurodevelopment techniques to improve movement patterns, head control, and transitions in movement
  • Adaptations and activities for feeding, dressing, and grooming skills
  • Assistive technology and adaptive equipment needed to be independent with age-appropriate activities of daily living
  • Joint stability of the hand
  • Money and time management skills, vocational skills

Physical Therapy is for:

  • Orthopedic problems, joint and muscle problems
  • Developmental delays
  • Low muscle tone/high muscle tone issues
  • Postural dysfunction
  • Torticollis
  • Coordination and balance problems

Physical Therapy offers:

  • Large motor skills such as rolling, sitting, crawling, walking, running, jumping, and ball agility skills
  • Recovery from accidents, sports and orthopedic injuries
  • Strengthening, endurance and balance training

Speech Therapy is for:

  • Speech and language delays
  • Hearing loss/ cochlear implants
  • Stuttering
  • Vocal nodules
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Developmental delays due to prematurity, neurodisorders, genetic disorders
  • Comprehension and use of language, articulation, productions of speech sounds
  • Hearing impairment and processing fluency
  • Voice and resonance during speech
