Teton Valley Community School of Teton Science Schools is a project-based, independent school located on a 4-acre campus in Victor, ID. Students in pre-school through 6th grade engage in a challenging curriculum that builds core academic knowledge. Authentic projects are used to hone investigation, collaboration and problem-solving skills and inspire children to invest in their own learning.
The school offers a creative and vibrant learning community where students feel comfortable taking intellectual risks, participating in conflict resolution and practicing their leadership skills. Because of small class sizes, students receive individual attention from their teachers and are encouraged to learn at their own pace. Students become active participants in their learning – exploring their world, asking and answering their own questions, and expressing their unique thoughts and ideas. Parents also play a critical role in the education of their children, and strong partnerships between teachers and parents are carefully cultivated.
The Learning Academy of Teton Valley is an independent school in Driggs, Idaho offering pre-school and K-12 education. Our mission is to create an educational experience in an environment where students feel safe, supported, and engaged in their learning process. We encourage learners to work to their full potential, to exhibit independent thought, self-confidence, creativity, and imagination.
Using a thematic, integrated curriculum; character and team building activities; and enrichment activities we work to adapt our teaching to meet each child’s individual needs. Our belief is that because each child is unique, their learning experience should be tailored to them so that they may excel and have great success in school.
