Megan O’Brien, MSW, LCSW, Executive Director
Megan is a Florida native who migrated west in 2011 to explore different altitudes and attitudes (although she appreciates the Florida ecosystem greatly). Megan received her B.S. in Zoology from the University of Florida and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wyoming, where she received multiple awards for her research on the housing situation in Teton County, WY. She has spent time studying Spanish in Mexico, Guatemala, and Colombia, and is passionate about affordable housing, children’s rights, and community development. Megan is an active (although clumsy) backpacker and cyclist, and can often be found in the national forest with her two dogs and partner, Derek.
